Vern Tessio was born in Castle Rock, Vern is the goofiest and scariest boy in the gang, his friends call him Verno, this kid heard his two brothers talking about Ray Brower's body, so Vern told the other kids where the body was, and they decided to go for it.

At the end Vern and the other guys saw each other less and less, until they became in simple faces in the halls, Vern got married out of high school, he had four kids and became in the forklift operator at the Arsenault Lumber Yard

Teddy was born in France, but he came to America with his parents. This kid is the craziest one in the gang, probably he inherited it from his father who pissed at teddy once and tried to burn his ear, but teddy doesn't care about it, he defends his father's name telling everyone that he fought in Normandy. Teddy is an average boy with not much of a chance in life, as a boy he spent most of his time with Gordie, Chris and Vern but as he grew up, he stopped hanging out with the guys.

After high school Teddy tried to get into the army, but his eyes and his ears kept him out, he spent some time in jail, and at the end he finished doing odd jobs around Castle Rock
